Adsorption efficiency and photocatalytic activity of silver sulphide-activated carbon (Ag2S-AC) composites
This study explores the adsorption efficiency and photocatalytic activity of silver sulphide-activated carbon (Ag2S-AC) composites derived from ground coffee waste (GCW). GCW was carbonized and activated using HCl, H3PO4, and KOH and again carbonized at different temperatures to make activated carbon (AC). The AC was combined with silver sulphide and studied for copper adsorption (99%) and methylene blue degradation (97.7%).
