This paper of the day study reveals a new therapeutic target for Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), a life-threatening skin disease. Using advanced spatial proteomics techniques, researchers identified the JAK/STAT signaling pathway as a key driver of TEN. Targeting this pathway with JAK inhibitors showed promising results in both preclinical models and human patients. This study offers hope for patients with this devastating disease.
